SPRINGING AHEAD....Oh yeah that reminds me....

Mike in the Morning at Bull-O-Rama 2009

I REALLY NEED A NEW MATTRESS, I guess it's time to go shopping, right after I get my refund, I hope.....but I digress....

A lot has happened since the last time I checked in with you. It has been a very busy couple of weeks and this is the first chance I have had to sit down at the keyboard and bash out a few key strokes. I hope things are well with you!

The Olympics are done and man did we show the world, Canada knows how to throw a party! (now all we have to do is pay for it! There's the hangover)

The 2010 BC Winter Games in Terrace were a huge success thanks to all the amazing volunteers who stepped up and devoted so much time and energy to welcoming BC to Terrace.

The 12 finalists for Hockeyville 2010 were announced on Monday night and unfortunately Hazelton did not make the cut this year, but the committee is promising to be back for next year's contest bigger and stronger and more organized than ever and we will be right there with you!

We sprang ahead last weekend and that means more hours of daylight through the summer months. My question is do we really need more daylight in the Northwest? I mean during the summer we get about 20 hours of it a day anyway. Oh well, it's great when the sun is shining, I'll just have to pull out my sleeping blind fold again!

This weekend marks the first official day of spring and that means no more snow or cold right? Wait this is the Northwest the weather changes every 30 seconds. Oh well let's hope we are done with winter. I certainly hope so for my friend Adam's sake as he is counting down the days until the start of training camp for his softball season. Training camp for softball? I always the thought the only training for softball in adult leagues required a lawn chair, a cooler and and some brown bottles or very cold beverage cans! Shows you how much I know.

Anyway, looks like it's time to get up on the ladder and take down the Christmas lights. After all don't really want to show the true colour of my neck do I? Hope you have a great spring and for those like Adam...PLAY BALL!!!!!!!! Talk to you soon!

SUPPORT THE TROOPS!!!!

Remember to wear a RED SHIRT on FRIDAYS to show your support for the Canadian Troops around the world!

Here is your "THOUGHT FOR THE DAY".....

"IS DEJA FU THE FEELING THAT SOMEHOW, SOMEWHERE, YOU'VE BEEN KICKED IN THE HEAD LIKE THIS BEFORE?"

PONDER THAT ONE!

That's all for now!!!

If you have any suggestions or comments about the show...

I WOULD LOVE TO HEAR FROM YOU....EMAIL ME AT

Mornin Mike, Thanks for getting my day started right.  My work day doesn’t’ really get started until your show starts and I hear a Doc Walker song.  Today seems like longer than normal as I have been at work since 6 a.m. which is 4 a.m. your time.  It makes me laugh (my co-workers around me think I am losing my mind) when I hear you talking about fall and frost in the same sentence.  For us frost would be dead of winter (January) and we would be desperately awaiting spring here. Have a great week. Debbie Witek, Houston Texas
