Terrace Youth Soccer's "Indoor Winter Clinic"

Clinics taking place every Saturday in January and February.

Centennial Christian School Gymnasium

There are four categories - for boys and girls from ages 5 to 14.

Registration cost is $25 per child for one month or $50 for both months.

Kids need to bring runners, shin pads and a water bottle.

All entrants must have been registered to play soccer with the Terrace Youth Soccer Association in 2011.

The Terrace Art Club will be meeting in the Art Room #143

Attendance is Free -- bring your own supplies!

Special Olympics Prince Rupert Seeking Volunteers

If you are looking for a fantastic volunteer opportunity, Special Olympics Prince Rupert is in need of your help!

Special Olympics offer high quality programming to people of all ages living with an intellectual disability.  All Prince Rupert needs is five volunteers to form a local board and programs will be running!

Summer sports include:  bowling, aquatics, track and field, power lifting, rhythmic gymnastics, soccer and softball.

Winter sports include:  alpine skiing, cross-country skiing, curling, floor hockey, snowshoeing, speed skating and figure skating.

Youth sports include:  Active Start (ages 2-6) FUNdamentals (ages 7-11), Sport Start (ages 12-18), Golf (demo), basketball 9demo), bocce(demo).

Plant Youth Free Yoga Lessons

Free Yoga Lessons with a male teacher will be offered at the Friendship house every Tuesday in the cedar lined cultural room for ages 19 - 24.  This is the perfect class for those who have never done yoga before.  It is very basic.  This yoga instructor is very talented and we are lucky to have him.  Classes start at 4pm and go until 5pm for the month of February and the first half of March.

Some mats will be provided, but please bring your own if you have one.

Prince Rupert Camera Club

The Camera Club is revitalizing and looking for new members.  Meetings are the first Thursday of each month, 7:00pm in the Multi-Purpose Room at the Library.  The club has a photography tutorial and/or discussion at each monthly meeting.   As well we are planning field trips and workshops.  There is currently an exhibition of photographs on display at the Museum until Jan. 31st.

Round Lake Community Association Weekend Events
